They are installed in a power-plant in Repperndorf near Kitzingen, Germany. With nearly 8 Mw peak power, this power plant is one of the biggest in southern Germany.

Encouraged by the positive feedback on the Intersolar 2008, PADCON has finished the development of new concept of the AMC technology which is now ready for the market. It was the first time that an inverter was developed especially for multi-MW power plants: The AMC 2500 inverters combine robust design and economical efficiency in a package, which has every feature of modern power plant technology. With a maximal input voltage of 1300 V, new concepts for system technology are possible.
Further power plants with PADCON inverters are arranged for the year 2009 und can be realized after the successful installation of the power plant in Repperndorf.
PADCON is specialized in system technology for large PV power plants. PADCON products increase efficiency and lifetime of power plants. With many innovations in the pipeline, PADCON is sure to increase sales and the number of employees again in 2009.
